leap from 6th floor fire - A Rusholme Rd. man was killed

yesterday, when he leaped from his burning 6th floor

apartment just minutes before firemen arrived. Ian

McMillan, 31, was dead on arrival at Toronto Western

Hospital after he jumped about 60 feet from his bedroom

window. Neighbours told cops they heard McMillan shouting

for help while sitting on the window ledge just moments

before he plunged to the ground. Firemen said the blaze

was caused by an overheated pot fo fat left on the kitchen
