Both of Phoebe's parents were born in New York state. Phoebe is of Irish descent. Frank Holman was a foster son taken as a 9 day old baby when his mother died at Berryville, Arkansas, about 1894. Phoebe Ann died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lena Jeffries at Mound City, Kansas, and is buried at Rosette Cemetery, Sylvan Grove, Kansas.[1]
