Janet Melvina McNeill Squires was born to John and Charlotte Spencer McNeill on September 19, 1877. She married Edward Frederick Squires on September 27, 1899. They had 6 children; Melva, Anna Favor, Fred Boyd, John Lister, James Radcliffe, and Shirley Norine Squires.
Janet passed away December 27, 1940. Interned at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park on December 29, 1940. Her loving husband, Fred, wrote this in his journal. 12/27/1940 - After an appendicitis operation, followed by several weeks of suffering, my beloved wife, Janet Melvina McNeill, died at 7:40 PM at the LDS Hospital. I cannot express in words the great sorrow I feel at her leaving us, even though it be for just a short time, for me at least.
