On 15 Sep 1862, Mary Forsyth McQueen was born in Michigan, USA. [1]

Robert McQueen (age 44, born in Ireland) was listed as head of household and employed as "Book Keeper" in the 1870 US Census, living in Michigan. Alicia McQueen (age 37, born in Virginia) was listed as Robert's wife, occupied with "Keeping House." Both Robert and Alicia list their mothers and fathers were foreign born. The value of Robert's real estate is listed as $600, and his personal estate as $400. This 1870 census also included their daughters Alicia McQueen (age 18, born in Illinois) and Mary McQueen (age 7, born in Michigan), and Alicia Forsythe (age 60, born in Ireland). [2]

At the time of the 1900 US Census, head of household Cleland U. Ward (age 38, born in New York) was working in the occupation of "Draughtsman" and living in a home he owned with a mortgage at 132 Walnut Street in Election District 2, Lockport City Ward 3, Niagara, New York, United States with his wife, Mary F. Ward (age 38, born in Michigan) and five children: Duane M. Ward (age 14, born in New York), Muriel Ward (age 12, born in New York), Donald S. Ward (age 6, born in New York), N. Forsyth Ward (age 3, born in New York), and Cleland H. Ward (age 1, born in New York). Cleland and Mary stated they'd been married for 16 years by 1900, and that they'd had five children, with five of them still alive. Both of Cleland's parents were born in New York; Mary Ward's father was born in Ireland, and her mother was born in West Virginia. [3]

Mary Forsyth Ward born 15 Sept 1852 in Michigan died 15 Jan 1957, 94 years old at Crothers Nursing Home in Lockport, Niagara, New York. She was a housewife at 90 Waterman St. Lockport, Niagara, New York and lived in Lockport for 82 years. Her parents were Robert McQueen and Alicia Forsyth. Cause of death was myocarditis and alteriosclerosis. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery was on 17 Jan 1957. Mrs Elmer Soergel was the informant. [4]
