Biography

Hannah McSwain was born on August 5, 1839 in North Carolina, the daughter of Louis L. McSwain and Mary (Hamrick) McSwain.

Hannah married James M. Green. They had the following children:

1. Preston Green,
2. James Reuben Greene,
3. Gilead Greene,
4. Edmond Green and
5. Asenith Green

Hannah died on February 21, 1931 in Cleveland County, North Carolina at the age of 92. She was buried at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery Blacksburg, Cherokee County,SC^[1]
