Margaret was born 13 Dec 1820, Parents Owen McVeigh, Mary McVeigh, baptised 1821. Married James Butler 1837, They had three children, James died in 1862, maybe that's why Margaret 'went downhill'. Margaret had been sent to gaol, 27th April 1871, to serve a sentence 'of three months' imprisonment for idle and disorderly conduct and died in prison, 1871

Launceston Examiner (Tas. : 1842 - 1899), Saturday 29 July 1871, page 4 An inquest was held last Saturday, into the cause of death of Margaret Butler, aged 66 years,a prisoner under sentence, who died in the House of Correction on Thursday last. From the evidence, it appeared that she was suffering from partial paralysis and dropsy of the lower extremities and that death resulted from organic disease of the heart.TROVE Extract - [2]
