Biography
James, born about 1842 in Belmont, Canada West (Ontario),[1] was the son of Thomas McWilliams and Margaret Reid.[2] He married Mary Clarke, the daughter of John and Alice Clarke, on January 2, 1864, in Peterborough.[3]
