- ROUSE.--On June 27, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. H. Sparks, 43 William street, Hawthorn, Annie, widow of Albert Edward Rouse, late of W.A., loving mother of Alberta (Mrs. S. H. Sparks) and Gladys (Mrs. L. J. Lafsky), in her ninetieth year.[1]
Research Notes
This profile originally had birth details of born 1858 in Roebourne, Western Australia. No evidence has been found for the birth, and it may be a conflation with an Ann McCarthy, daughter of Orson, born in 1858 in Fremantle. There is no evidence that the parents of the latter Ann remained in Western Australia, and in fact the absence of evidence suggest they may have left the colony soon after her birth.
