MCclur-1 and McClay-169 appear to represent the same person because: I had entered a McClay who was connected to my family, and then I was sent some information from a grandchild of James Aaron Simpson. I was adding this information when I realised that your James Aaron Simpson is the same as the one I was about to create as the husband of Mary McClay.
