Thomas Hart Benton Mc Clure was born on ~April 4, 1846 in Ozark, Missouri, United States. His parents were Hugh Mc Clure (~1802 - ~1874) and Nancy (Kirk) Mc Clure (~1802 - 1870).

His sister was Celina Mc Clure (~1829 - ).

In 1850 (aged ~4), Thomas was living with his parents, Hugh (45), and Nancy (35); and his siblings, Celina C (21), John W (18), Elizabeth Ann (17), Samuel (13), James M (12), Sarah C (5), and Joseph F (0).

Thomas married Mary Ann Edwards (1841 - 1914) on November 20, 1867 in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Their daughter was Mary Belle (Mc Clure) Dial (1870 - 1933).

Thomas died on July 8, 1938 in Sugarloaf, Cleburne, Arkansas aged 92.
