There's a good discussion of the records for Abigail, her parentage, whether she is the same Abigail who was married to John Landsdown[1] on WheelockGenealogy.com[2]
Place of birth: Census records: 1850, 1855 (NY) listed as b in Massachusetts. She was enumerated twice, once living with son Salem (shows b in Connecticut), and once with daughter Fanny (b in Massachusetts). Daughter Abigail (Wheelock) Hick's 1880 census shows her mother was born in VT, and son Salem Wheelock's 1880 census shows his mother was born in Massachusetts.
Date of birth: Census records range from 1778/9 (1850, 1860) to 1783 (1855 NY). 1783 would make her sixteen at the birth of her first child in 1799, and probably the earliest possible birth date, but 1778 is probably more likely.
