Biography
Elizabeth, daughter of Alexander Mclachlan and Mary Ann Naysmith.
She and her siblings, attended Waio-karaka school at Thames.
In 1904, she married a divorcee, Capt. Edward Donovan and raised a family of 4 known children, Donovan Desmond, Francis Sholto, Tymothy and Sheila Marjorie.
Two of the children, Sheila and Tymothy died in their infancy and are buried at Otahuhu cemetery.
Elizabeth died the year after Edward in 1939, age 66 and is also buried at Otahuhu.
