Biography

On November 11, 1880, Violet Adelaide MCNAB, daughter of John Robert MCNAB and Adelaide BRADLEY was born in Beckwith Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.[1][2][3][4][5]

BIRTH REGISTRATION

On April 4, 1881, Violet, her parents, John and Adelaide, her siblings, James and Ida and a labourer were residing on the family farm in Beckwith Township, Lanark South, Ontario. Violet was a Presbyterian.[2]

CENSUS 1881

On April 6, 1891, Violet, her parents, John and Adelaide and her siblings, James and Stella were residing in Carleton Place, Lanark County South, Ontario, Canada.[3]

On March 31, 1901, Violet, her parents, John and Adelaide, her sister, Stella, her grandfather, Francis and three lodgers were residing in Kamloops, British Columbia.[4]

On 28 May 1902 Violet married Frederick Ernest Carter in the home of J. R. McNabb (probably Violet's father) in Kamloops, British Columbia. Witnesses were William Carter and Estella McNabb.[6]

On November 27, 1912, Violet, age 32 years, passed away likely in British Columbia.[5]

OBITUARY

Violet was buried in Pleasant Street Cemetery in Kamloops.[5]
