There's a problem with linking in marriage of Mary Mead to John Moe.

1). There is sourced marriage of Benjamin Waterbury to Mary Mead in Barbour reference "Mary m. Benjamin Waterbery Jan. 12, 1726/7, by Capt. Jonathan Hoit" at: http://www.ctgenweb.org/county/cofairfield/pages/stamford/l-m_barbour.htm

2). Also a source "Benjamin, b. Sept. 12, 1694, m. Jan. 12, 1727, Mary, dau. of Jonathan Mead of Greenwich Conn., b. May 22, 1704" from "Ye Historie of Ye Town of Greenwich" source (p.675).

3). A source from "Stamford Registration" (p.117) "Benjamin and Mary Weed, m. Jan. 12, 1727" {Note this gives incorrect wife surname of "Weed"; should be "Mead"}.

Seems improbable that Mary could be married to John Moe in 1725 and then married to Benjamin in 1726/7 with John Moe living until 1764 and having numerous children with some spouse (not Mary Mead), as Mary Mead's children (with Benjamin Waterbury) are documented in the "Ye Historie of Ye Town of Greenwich" source (p.675) and the "Stamford Registration" source (p.117).

Since the marriage between John Moe and Mary Mead is unsourced, my suggestion to the profile manager of Mead-145 is to remove John Moe as a spouse of Mead-145, remove Mead-145 as the mother of John Moe's children, and change Mead-145's current name to "Waterbury". As John Moe (Moe-136) is currently "orphaned" some other intrepid soul will need to research who is John's actual spouse.

Thanks

Mead-145 and Mead-1296 appear to represent the same person because: I believe that these Mary Mead's are in fact the same two people. Please see https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LCXR-FJ8 for my family tree info that shows this Mary as being the same.
