Mead-2531 and Mead-181 appear to represent the same person because: Same daughter, Hannah, who married John Ferrel. Thanks for reviewing.

Asahel is my Fifth Great Grandfather. He was called "Asa". He was killed by Indians at abt 23 years of age.

09 October 2018: Sadly his father Darius was also killed by Indians a few years later. Darius was working in his field plowing when an Indian attacked him and they fought to the death of both men. If I remember right, the Indian man was the Chief of his tribe.

Since I am in process of moving from one state to another I don't have all of my files with me but as soon as I get everything moved to my new state I will revise the info and put all the info I have about Asahel's and Darius's death in this post.
