Biography

John was born in June 1812. He was the son of John David Mead and Betsey Vermilyea.[1]

In 1840 John (age about 27) was living in Jefferson, Schoharie, New York, USA.[2]

deed: 12 August 1843 in Summit, Schoharie, New York, USA.[3]

John died at the age of about 39 in 1852.[1]

And we do by these presents hereby authorize, consititute and appoint the said Edmund Wheeler in one named either jointly or severally to sue for, claim, demand, receive and discharge all such legacies, bequests, devises or interest in said estate for his exclusive use and benefit, he the said Edmund Wheeler saving and keeping each and every one of us safe, harmless and indemnified of and from all costs, and charges on account thereof. In witness whereof, we have hereunto set our respective hands and seals the 12th day of August 1843.
