↑ Source: #S79 Page: Assignment, Heirs of Levi Meed, deceased, to Edmund Wheeler, Liber 8, p. 120 Data: Text: We the undersigned heirs at law of Levi Meed, late of the town of Summit, in the County of Schoharie deceased, in consideration of the sum of one dollar to us severally in hand paid by Edmund Wheeler of the same place, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, and of other good and sufficient considerations us hereunto moving, have granted, assigned, bargained and sold and by these presents, do freely and absolutely grant, assign, bargain and sell unto the said Edmund Wheeler and to his heirs and assigns forever all the right, title and interest of each and every of us, of, in and to the estate both real and personal of Levi Meed, late of the town and county aforesaid, deceased, whereof he died seized, posessed of owned, and of all legacies, bequests, and devices made by said deceased, in his last will and testament or otherwise. And we do by these presents hereby authorize, consititute and appoint the said Edmund Wheeler in one named either jointly or severally to sue for, claim, demand, receive and discharge all such legacies, bequests, devises or interest in said estate for his exclusive use and benefit, he the said Edmund Wheeler saving and keeping each and every one of us safe, harmless and indemnified of and from all costs, and charges on account thereof.
