William was born in 1687, the youngest son of John Mead.[1] William was the executor for his father's will. He was a brother of Mary (Meads) Jarman.

Below are wills for two different William Meades/Meads of Calver C., Maryland, who died in 1720 and 1721. It is unclear whether they were father and son, or whether one was a son of John Meads mentioned above

Meades, William, Calvert Co.,5th April, 1721; 10th May, 1721. To wife Eliza., extx., real estate until dau. Mary comes to age of 16 or marries, then her thirds; shd. dau. Mary die before attaining afsd. age, entire estate to wife Eliza. Test: Thos. Hardesty (Hardisty), Jr., Thos. Edes, Anne Eades. [1]
Meads, William, the elder, planter, Calvert Co., 21st May, 1720 ; 17th Dec., 1720. To wife Jane, extx., dwelling plantation " Clare 's Gift, " pt. His Lordship 's favour' during life, at her decease to pass to dau Sarah Hardesty. Also personal estate, to pass at her decease to four child., viz. William, Sarah Hardesty, Jane Philips and Anne, equally. Shd. wife marry her thirds only, residue to child. afsd. To son William and hrs., lands bou. of John and Aaron Cobreath, of Harrington heirs, and residue of lands bou. of Thomas Watkins (not sold to Christian Swanstead). Overseers: Son William, Thomas Hardesty and John Philips. Test: John Pierrevilte, Rich& Stallings, Richd. Poeale. 16, 236.[1]

William died c. 1720 at Calvert County, Maryland. It is unclear which of the above William Meads/Meades was the son of John and sister to Mary (Meads) Jarman.
