Biography

Deliverance was born May 4, 1728[1] and was baptized on 9 June 1728 at the Second Congregational Church in Greenwich, Connecticut, the son of Ebenezer Mead.[2]

Marriage

Deliverance married June 11, 1759 to Abigail Howe, the daughter of Capt. Isaac Howe.[1]

Mead, L.L.B. of the New York Bar.: Mead, Deliverance, late of Greenwich, will dated June 18, 1779, probated May 28, 1785, mentions his wife Abigail, and children Robert, Ephraim, Jabez, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rachel, Hannah and Huldah and provided for an unborn child. Executors: his wife, and brother Jared Mead. Witnesses: Daniel Banks, Jonas Mead, and Lemuel Rich, pg 739. Inventory taken June 2,1785, by Nehemiah Mead and Abraham Mead, and filed July 5, 1785, page 750. Jan 1, 1787, account filed and distribution ordered according to his will, pg 840.

Mead, Deliverance, late of Greenwich, Oct. 19, 1789, estate distributed to his children: Robert, Ephraim, Jabez, Zenas, Elizabeth, wife of Job Lyon, Sarah Mead, Rachel, wife of Whitman Mead, Hannah Mead, and Huldah Mead and to his widow, Abigail Mead, pg 249.

Mead-2261 and Mead-770 appear to represent the same person because: They are the same person; the 1785 DOD has a source so i would go with that one.
