Biography

Reuben John Mead was born in 1853 at Peel, near Bathurst New South Wales when his parents James and Ann were working on the property "Brucedale" owned by the Suttor family. He was Baptised on 3 June 1854 at the Holy Trinity Church, Kelso. On 13 December 1873 Reuben married Catherine Whelan in Bathurst. He died at Lidcombe, New South Wales on 21 March 1927.
