Jared was born in 1774. He is the son of Timothy Mead and Phebe Crippen. He passed away in 12 Sep 1776 at the age of 2. ^{[1][2] [3]}

Uncertain Information

According to S. P. Mead, Timothy and Phebe had six children. The first born was Jared. He died in infancy. While we do not know the exact birth and death dates, we can approximate based on the marriage date ( ) and the birth of their second child, Jabesh, who was born March 11, 1776. Their third child, Amos, was born March 11, 1778.^[4]
