Albert died intestate in Cumberland Co VA in the year 1852. His widow Sarah (Talley) Meador in Dec 1853 filed for division of the land and slaves against the administrator of the estate Horace A Talley.
The land was divided in 1854. Sarah received her dower land and the remainder was split into three parcels, one for each of their children. The slaves were divided in 1855.[1]
