Biography

Charlie was born about 1803 in Tennessee. He was the son of Job Meador and Mildred Millie Simmon. He passed away about 1875 in Jackson County, Tennessee. He is not found in records after the 1870 census.

Charles married Rachel Unknown about 1830 in Jackson County, Tennessee.[citation needed]

In 1850 Charles Meador [Meders] was living in District 11, Jackson County, Tennessee. In his household are wife, Rachel, and children: James, John, Malissa, Elizabeth, Ardaminsa, Ardaleme, Franklin, and Margaret.[1] They were still living there at the time of the 1860 census.[2]

In 1870 Charles Meador [Meadows] was still living in District 11, Jackson County, Tennessee. In his household are wife, Rachel, and children: Astema and Frank M. Also in the household are Charles Harrison, age 11, and Elizabeth Allen, age 6.[3]
