Lafayette Meador lived in Appalachia, in Virginia (now West Virginia).
Lafayette Meador was born 23 May 1853 in Mercer County, Virginia. He was the son of Lewis Meador and Rachel Cox.[1]
Lafayette married Rhoda C. Hayes on 8 April 1878, Raleigh County, West Virginia.[2]By 1910 they would have 13 children and 10 were living.[3]
Lafayette died 24 January 1933 in Norton, Wise, Virginia. He was a retired retail merchant. He is buried in Highland Cemetery, Norton, Wise County Virginia. Find A Grave has a photo of his head stone.[4][5]
