Biography

Laura was born in 1860. [1]

She emigrated to New Zealand on "Queen of the Avon" arriving in Wellington on August 9 1863. [2]

She married Alexander Yule in 1886.[3] The children of Laura and Alexander were:

  1. Isabella Ruby Constance
  2. Robert Ernest
  3. Ashley Alexander
  4. Donald Graeme
  5. Leslie Milne
  6. Samuel Dudley Rutherford[4]

Her Letters of Administration do not mention Samuel[5], but do mention Grace Hephzibah Inkpen,[6] born 20 Mar 1897.[7]

She passed away aged 71 in 1933.[8][9]
