Mary "Polly" was born in 1806.

There is probably some confusion on children of Mary Meeks. See Research Notes below.

In 1850 a James and Mary Minyard were living in Arkansas. [1] Mary was listed as 44 years old and born in Missouri. Children on 1850 census:

  • John - born about 1832 - in Arkansas
  • Thomas - born about 1836 - in Arkansas
  • Eliphus - born about 1839 - in Arkansas
  • Malinda - born about 1841 - in Arkansas
  • Lucinda - born about 1841 - in Arkansas
  • Mary Ann - born about 1846 - in Arkansas
  • Frances E - born about 1848 - in Arkansas

In 1860 there was a James and Mary Minyard living in Arkansas. [2] She was listed as 50 years old and born in Illinois. Children on 1860 census:

  • Elias - born about 1838 - in Arkansas
  • Margret - born about 1842 - in Arkansas
  • William - born about 1844 - in Arkansas
  • Marcey - born about 1847 - in Arkansas
  • Levy - born about 1847 - in Arkansas
