Biography

Spencer was the son of Allen J. Meeks & Susannah Tyson.

Spencer was a Primitive Baptist preacher. He is listed as Elder Spencer Meeks on his grave marker.

In 1833 in Emanuel County, Georgia, he married Elizabeth "Betsy" Outlaw. Their children were:
