Biography
Lydia was born on 12 April 1695. She was the daughter of Thomas Mellen and Elizabeth (Fiske) Mellen.[1][2]

Lydia Mellen was born April 12, 1695 at Sherborn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Thomas and Elizabeth Mellen. She married Jonathan Gibbs about 1723 at Framingham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts and their children were:
- Esther,
- James (#104484343),
- Jacob,
- Lydia,
- Jonathan,
- Ester and
- Sarah.
Lydia may have remarried after the death of Jonathan and she passed away about 1789.
Parents of Lydia Mellen: Thomas Mellen' was born August 1, 1668 at Framingham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts to Simon and Mary Bridges Mellen. Elizabeth, parents unknown, was born in 1670. Thomas and Elizabeth were married about 1690 and their children were: Henry (#7001510), Thomas, Lydia (#169352736), Sarah, Mary, Richard and Tabitha (#174747202). Elizabeth died after 1704 in Middlesex County, Massachusetts and Thomas died in 1741 at Framingham and is probably buried there.

Looks like someone made a bit of a mess at Find A Grave. I notified the manager with the comments needed to correct Lydia and Jonathan's memorials. I don't know why they were merged. Lydia's info is on Jonathan's, and his info is on hers.
