MR. H. G. MELVILLE.

Mr. Henry George Melville, formerly of Penrith, died at-the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Parkinson, 58 Underwood Road, Homebush, on October 8, at the age of 78 years.

Deceased was born at Hobby's Yards, and lived for some years in the west. From there he removed to Schofield, where he had a business. Some years ago he came to Penrith and for a time conducted a boarding house in Henry Street and afterward lived in Lethbridge Street. More recently he lived at Neville, in the Blayney district.

He is survived by his wife, formerly Martha Elizabeth Radburn, a native of Neville, and bv the following daughters and sons: Edna (Mrs. Parkinson, Homebush), Dulcie (Mrs. E. Parkinson, Queensland), Ronald (Neville), Verner (Neville), and Ethel (Mrs. H. Allen, Neville).

The interment took place at Neville on Saturday, 11th inst.
