Margaret, daughter of Alexander Melvin & Mary Robertson, was born on 10 February 1870 in Fraserburgh, Aberdeen, Scotland.^[1][2]

In the 1871 census Margaret (age 1) was the daughter of Alexander Melvin at 25 Back Street, Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire.^[3]

In the 1891 census Maggie (age 21) was the daur (daughter) of Alexander Melvin on No 19 High St, Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire.^[4]

Margaret's marriage to Alexander Bain was registered in 1896 in the Fraserburgh district.^[5]

Margaret's marriage to William Burnett was registered in 1919 in the Rubislaw district.^[6]

Margaret's death (age 71) was registered in 1941 in the Aberdeen Northern District district. her death indexed unter three surnames, Burnett, Melvin and Bain ^[7]
