Marie Louise Menard was born March 25, 1806 and baptized May 4, 1806, in the The Basilica of St. Louis, King of France (now commonly referred to as the "Old Cathdral") the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Dufour) Menard, of Carondelet, Missouri. [1]
