Biography

Rupert was born in 1888. He is the son of George Mercer and Emily Baldwin.

In 1945 Rupert married his aunt Isabella Matilda (Baldwin) Mercer (1889-1957).

Rupert died intestate. Occupation according to probate record is Boarding House Proprietor. In her brother Rupert's 1974 will, sister Gladys named as "Gladys Myrtle Dent" of New Plymouth applied to "undertake the administration".

In his sister's affidavit (probate record), she refers to her brother as a widower, was married only once and had no children.
