- Linsey Meredith was the daughter of Joseph and Nancy Skaggs Meredith. Her sister, Susannah, married William's brother, Aaron Skaggs. They were some of the first emigrants to Edmonson Co., KY. Joseph was the son of William and Elizabeth Henry (sister to Patrick Henry). An aunt, Susannah Henry, married a Madison and moved into the Warren County area.
