Ada Clara Martha was born at Howes Valley near Singleton NSW the daughter of James Merrick and Martha Gibbs. Ada died in 1960 at Denman near Muswellbrook NSW at the age of 85 years and was buried at the Whittingham cemetery Singleton. Married to Joshua MEDHURST 1893 at Singleton Ada Merrick's surname is registered as Meyrick in the NSW marriage index. Ada and Joshua divorced in 1908
