DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Abigail by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Abigail:
Merrick-2395 and Merrick-51 appear to represent the same person because: Benjamin Merric and Rebecca Doane had only one daughter Abigail, who was born about 1699 in Harwich. These are duplicate profiles that need to be merged. Please see the reliable sources cited on Merrick-51.
Merrick-2196 and Merrick-51 appear to represent the same person because: Parents, dates, places, spouses all match. Children on -2196 are on the list on -51. The Ancestral Conundrum does not apply anymore since parents were corrected on prior generations. Please merge
Merrick-51 and Merrick-2196 do not represent the same person because: Please refer to the "Conundrum" on Merrick-51. A DNA trail must confirm match. Thank you for your interest. Aloha! Rico
Myrick-362 and Merrick-762 appear to represent the same person because: These represent the same person. I would use the spelling MERRICK as it is the same as her fathers and appears in sources not appearing on the Myrick-362 page.
Shouldn’t the DNA Conundrum image be deleted from her profile since it no longer applies?
