On September 16, 1922, Clarence (25) married Eva M. Cronk (24) in Salem, New Hampshire[10][11][12].
On April 16, 1924, Clarence and Eva gave birth to their son Clarence Webster Merrill(Jr. as it says on some documents but Wikitree does not acknowledge suffix's unless they are on the birth certificate), in Haverhill, Massachusetts[13][14][15].
In 1930 Clarence (33) and his wife Eva M. Cronk (31) lived at 2 Main Street, in Salem with their two son's Clarence W. Merrill (5) and Frank P. Merrill (3); Clarence was a salesman in the potato chip industry[16].
In 1940 Clarence (43) and his wife (41) lived on Main Street, in Salem, with their two son's Clarence Jr. (14) and Frank P. (13) and their daughter Elizabeth J. Merrill (6); Clarence continued selling potato chips[17].
In April of 1942, Clarence (45) registered for World War II[18][19].
Clarence Webster Merrill (48) passed away on March 29, 1945 at Lawrence General Hospital (where he stayed for one day), in Essex, New Hampshire; Clarence was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, New Hampshire[20][21][22].
