Biography

Horatio Merrill was born 11 Feb 1840 in Littleton, Grafton, New Hampshire and died 26 May 1842[1] , son of John Merrill and Hannah Allen.

In the 1840 census of Littleton, New Hampshire, family of John Merrill has two males under age 5, probably Horatio and his brother Henry[2]

Glenwood Cemetery headstone in Littleton give birth as 1839 and death date as 1841, no birthdate. The stone may have been erected after 1902 death of Hannah Dewey Merrill.[3]
