Roa was born in 1874.

Marriage

Marriage. On 6th July 1895, Roa Merrill, 20, married a 25-year-old Editor, Fred J. Cross, at Cloesville, Ionia, Michigan. Roa said she was a Teacher, born Ionia County, Michigan, the daughter of [Mr.] Merril and M. A. Richards. Fred, who lived Grand Rapids, was born Niles, Michigan, the son of Joel Cross and Emily L. Davis. Their marriage was witnesses by James Cross, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. V. M. Thompson, of Cloesville. The Marriage License had been issued the previous day in the county of Kent, Michigan. ^[1]

Death

Roa M. Cross died 6th September 1942, at Kenosha, Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States. Her date of birth was recorded as 31st October 1874. Her remains were interred Green Ridge Cemetery. ^[2]
