Biography
Daniel was born about 1755. He was the son of Jonathan Merritt and Ruth Stetson. [1] He married Mary Simmons, the daughter of Aaron Simmons and Elizabeth Hyland on March 23, 1786 in Scituate[2] He passed away in 1835 and is buried in First Parish Cemetery in Norwell, Scituate, Massachusetts [3]
