Biography
Ruth was born in Scituate, Massachusetts in May 1694.[1][2]Her father was John Merritt.[1][2] Her mother may have been Elizabeth Hyland but there aren't good sources to confirm John's marriages.
Ruth married Jacob Lincoln (or Linckoln) on November 14, 1717.[3][4]
She died only a few years later on October 16, 1721 in Hingham, Massachusetts.[5]
