Laurinda Metcalf Hunt was born Feb 9 1794 in Keene County New Hampshire. She was Married March 13.1814 in Bethany New York to Simeon Hunt. They moved to Peoria County Illinois in the 1840s. Simeon Died in Aug of 1850. App. 1869 Laurinda moved to Guthrie county, Iowa with her daughter Frances Ross, and her husband HJ Ross. Laurinda died in Aug 1882 in Beaver township, Guthrie County, Iowa . S he is buried Menlo Cemetery, Menlo, Guthrie Co, IA. In the Ross plot, with her 2 Granddaughters.
