Elizabeth Mey was born about 1697. [1] She is inferred to be a child of Martynis Mey, who witnessed the baptisms for two of her children. Her marriage record indicates that she was born in Germany (identified on the record as "Hoghduytslandt"). She emigrated with her family to New York, possibly in one of the Palatine immigration ships of 1709-1710.
Eliezabet Mey married Deryck Storm in the Sleepy Hollow church in Tarrytown, New York, on 20 August 1720. [2]
They were parents of at least four children who were baptized in Tarrytown.
Her husband died before 6 May 1770, when Marte Bant, a widower, married Liesebet Mei, widow of Dirck Stoerm, in the Tarrytown church.[3]
