Biography

Émile Léocade Meyer, the daughter of Samuel Charles Meyer and Marie Therese Boutte, was born on 05 September 1809 in New Iberia, Louisiana. She was baptized 2 years later in Saint martinville, Lousiana. [1]

She married Ursin Gonsoulin.

After the death of Ursin, [2] she married René Jean-Baptiste Hacker (a resident of New Orleans) on 26 December 1836 in St Gabriel, Louisiana. [3]

Together they had 6 children:

  2. Achille Hacker
  3. Euphemie Hacker
  4. Louis Hacker
  5. Marie Hacker
  6. Philoman Hacker

She died in 1889 in Iberia Parish, Louisiana [4]
