Isaac Millard was the husband of Ann Smith, Isaac was baptised in 1817 at Steynton parish church, the son of John and Sarah Millar. Finding Isaac was quite hard, because the family name has been corrupted several times, but the couple and their children match the data. As yet I am not 100% sure of the actual family name, it may be Millard, Miller, Millar or Millard.
Millard; • 1839 marriage entry at St Ishmaels parish church • Baptisms of four of their children at St Ishmaels parish church
Miller; • 1841 and 1851 census returns for St Ishmaels parish • Baptism of two children at St Ishmaels parish church • Baptism at Hubberston parish church
Millar; • 1817 baptism of Isaac at Steynton parish church
I have also seen it spelt Millart. The couple married at St Ishmael’s parish church in 1837. Isaac and Ann can be found on the 1841 and 1851 census for St Ishmaels. The couple had seven children, Mary (b 1839) James (b 1840) John (b 1843) Elizabeth (b 1847) William (b 1851) George (b 1854) and Ann (b 1858). Isaac died at some point between 1857 and 1861. As yet I have not found a burial location or date. If anyone has any information regarding Isaac or his family please get back in touch, and help me update this profile. Written by Keith Rees 2016
