Gladys May Millar (married name Mansfield) was born on 11 February 1881 in Bulla, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Sarah (Bethel) Millar and James Hunter Millar.^[1]

She married Ernest Mansfield in 1902 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
