I am unsophisticated in genealogy research - use Family Search to understand/validate research I am conducting in my project. My project is to trace ownership of my residence property, and that of the development in which I live, back to the Pilgrims. Our property is located in Rehoboth/Swansea, MA, with the townline passing through it. To date, I have traced this property back to a deed transfer from Robert and wife Abigail Millard, of Freetown, Massachusetts, dated 01/07/1742. All Millards I have found to date are from Rehoboth.
I found your comment, in your Millard research, cautioning - "many trees have confused Robert Millard (1702-1784), Bristol MA with his 1st cousin, Robert Millard who married Abigail.
I am interested in anything/everything that will explain the lineage of Robert Millard, wife Abigail, of Freetown.
