Biography

Ann (Boutilier) Vienot a des origines françaises.
Ann (Boutilier) Vienot was a Huguenot emigrant (1540-1790).

When Anne Judith Bouteilier was born on October 22, 1682, in Chagey, Haute-Saône, France, her father, Nicholas Bouteilier, was 32, and her mother, Anne Malrage , was 26. She married Pierre Maillard on November 9, 1706, in Chagey, Doubs, France. They had four children in 11 years: George Frederic "Fred " (AKA Jean Frederic, born 1707), Jacques Christophe (born 1710), Elizabeth (born 1715), and Pierre (born 1718). She died in March 1762 in Montbéliard, Doubs, France, having lived a long life of 79 years

Judith Ann is listed in Montbelliard Emigrations to Nova Scotia, 1749-1752 as marrying Leopold February 3, 1754. Punch does not list any children for her and Leopold, as she was well into her 70's when they were married in 1754. He does have a footnote, "Despite the fact that she was twenty years older than Vienot there seems no other reasonable identification for the woman among the Monbéliards known to have come here." Bouteillier-10 and Boutilier-112 appear to represent the same person because: Hey Mathew,

On page 169 of Montbéliard Emigration to Nova Scotia Punch States that she is a widow of Maillard and marries Leopold Frederic Vienot - there is a footnote about her being 20 years older and more...Seems to be some confusing information from the same source. You thoughts? Mags
