Gain name appears to have been misspelled he was Gain in Sharon in :1763 bought land from Hunt see deed. James or Gawen in other land rec.
In Lebanon from 1st Cong. Church Rec. Gain's wife Mary adm. 7 Oct :1759. all children m. per Gain's will 1809. In New London Land rec v :room :belonged to an Michael Hil no relationship found between the two. In :Sharon Cem Rec. Gain is called Kane, and Deacon. His wife Mary Hunter :in burried next to him and his second wife Jane.
