Miller was born in Grand Rapids, O., May 3, 1842. CONT CONT On November 25, 1862, he was united in marriage to Miss Anna Mary Artz and their union was blessed with nine children Messrs. William and Fred Miller, Mrs. Mary Reitzel, Mrs. Phillip Weider and Mrs. Emma Limmer, also by 16 grandchildren. CONT CONT His health began to fail last spring and he went from the home of his son William to visit at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Reitzel where he was taken ill, and was unable to return to the home of his son. His death occurred Sunday, September 10, 1911 at 3:30 a. m. aged 69 years, 4 months and 7 days. The funeral was held from the Zoar Lutheran church, on September 12, Rev. F. Dietz officiating, and the remains were placed at rest in Fort Meigs cemetery.

CONT CONT He is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. Rinehardt Reitzel, and Mrs. Chas. Widener, of Lime City, Mrs. Chris Limmer and Will Miller.
