John was born around 1900 in Illinois.[1] His parents are unknown; the 1930 Census says that they were from Arkansas and Illinois.
It is unknown when he left Illinois but he ended up as a farmer in Park County, Wyoming.[1] He married Anna Jeanette Cheeseman around 1924 and had at least three children: Maurine (1925), Mary (1930), and Stanley (1932).[1] They were divorced sometime between 1930 and 1940.[2] They divorced sometime between 1930 and 1940.[2]
John's whereabouts are unknown after 1930.
